Great video Dennis. Nice to hear the violin on this one. I've not been to New Orleans since 1993 and I don't think Frenchmen Street was the big place for jazz then as it is now. I did 10 or 12 gigs in Fritzels on Bourbon Street in 93 (along with my brothers, my Dad, my friend who I've known from school and some other great jazz musicians from the UK). I really must visit again! - Thank you for your videos (from New Orleans and New York).

I love this. I love Charlie with the Shotgun Jazz Band, but it's only over that last year or so that I've noticed that Charlie obviously has a love for this tropical 'calypso' type of music (sorry, I'm not an expert so I might be getting my descriptions wrong).This is brilliant and Charlie's trombone style totally suits this music. Also, great clarinet Dennis!👏👏👏👍

I had no idea you were a Del McCoury or bluegrass fan. We saw Del and the boys at the Ryman last month. The guy is amazing. 85 years old and still singing strong.
